Apple announced the release of iOS 26, and the update is now available for all iPhone 11, iPhone SE (2nd generation), and newer devices. The main new feature is the Liquid Glass design, which introduces semi-transparent interface elements.
The system includes new features: an incoming call screen with an assistant for verifying unknown numbers, updated "Phone," "Camera," and "Maps" apps, improvements to Genmoji, Image Playground, and the built-in translator.
Apple also changed its version numbering scheme, jumping directly from iOS 18 to iOS 26 to unify the naming convention across all of the company's platforms.
