Al-Farabi ScaleUp Meetup celebrated the successes of the acceleration program in Saudi Arabia

On March 12, 2025, the Al-Farabi ScaleUp Meetup 2025 took place at the Astana Hub event hall, an event dedicated to the results of the first acceleration program of the Al-Farabi ScaleUp Accelerator. The meetup was attended by startup representatives, venture funds, investors, and journalists.

Participants shared their work results, experiences in entering international markets, and key lessons learned during the program. As part of a panel discussion moderated by Rinata Ilyubaeva, COO of White Hill Capital, startups Interactive Range, Biny, and OpenSky discussed business scaling, establishing strategic partnerships, and challenges in entering the Saudi Arabian market.

Welcoming speeches were delivered by Miras Zakiyev, Deputy Chairman of the Committee for the Development of Artificial Intelligence and Innovations under the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovations and Aerospace Industry of Kazakhstan; Eraly Beksultan, Senior Specialist for the Private Sector at the World Bank Group; and Tanat Uskenbayev, Managing Director of Astana Hub. They emphasized the importance of international cooperation for the development of the Central Asian startup ecosystem.

The event served as an important platform for establishing new contacts and discussing the prospects of integrating Kazakh startups into the international business environment. The Al-Farabi ScaleUp Meetup confirmed the success of the Al-Farabi Innovation Hub acceleration program, opening up new opportunities for innovation and investment in the region.
