80 tech startups have begun pre-acceleration under the Hero Training program

As a result of the two-week online pre-acceleration program, the top 20 tech startups will receive an exclusive opportunity to study in Silicon Valley, with access to coliving and coworking spaces for up to 6 months.

Astana Hub has launched the first stage of the exclusive Hero Training acceleration program, developed by Draper University for rapid scaling of technology companies in the global market. The program partner is My Ventures.

There were 199 applications for participation in the Hero Training program from countries of the Organization of Turkic States, as well as Tajikistan and Mongolia, of which 80 projects were selected for the first stage.

During the first stage of the program, participants will have the opportunity to raise up to $100,000 in seed funding from Draper University’s dedicated alumni fund, which could be a decisive factor for a startup. In addition, the program partner, My Ventures, will invest in at least five projects for a total of no less than $30,000, which will be selected to participate in the next stage of the program in Silicon Valley.

During the two-week online pre-acceleration program, participants will gain access to valuable resources and insights, as well as valuable experience from world leaders in the technology sector. The Fundamentals of Entrepreneurship program will help acquire the knowledge and skills necessary for success in the highly competitive business world.

Speakers will discuss sales, marketing, startup growth strategies in the global market, and how to expand one's capabilities and attract funding in the global market.

The agreement between Astana Hub and Draper University was signed on March 10, 2023, in San Mateo during the official visit of the Minister of Digital Development, Innovations, and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Bagdat Musin, to the United States.
