The Kazakh startup Nozomio has successfully closed a $1 million investment round. The deal took place in London just five days after the project's founder, Arlan Rakhmetzhanov, arrived in the United Kingdom.
Nozomio is developing a platform for automating code management using artificial intelligence. The company's first product is Nia, an AI engineer capable of deeply and contextually analyzing complex codebases, performing tasks on request, and automating routine work for developers.
Unlike most modern AI tools that function as advanced autocomplete features, Nia builds a multi-level model of the project and acts like an experienced senior developer. This approach reduces the number of errors and minimizes the need for constant oversight by engineers.
The startup's idea emerged from the founder's personal experience and discussions with industry colleagues, who confirmed high demand for a tool capable not only of processing commands but also understanding the structure and logic of code at a human level.
The lead investor in the round was the venture fund LocalGlobe, which holds investments in Figma, Revolut, Wise, and Robinhood. Additionally, the project received investment from Nurdaulet Bazylbekov, founder of the Eurasian Hub Ventures venture club, who became an advisor to Nozomio on strategy and fundraising.
The founder plans to use the raised investments to hire backend developers, develop technical infrastructure, and relocate to San Francisco.
