From May 21 to 23, the international forum "Growth Point: Uzbekistan for Digital Business" took place in Tashkent, organized by the Ministry of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan and IT Park Uzbekistan. The three-day event became an important milestone on the region's digital map, bringing together over 160 representatives of leading IT companies, the BPO sector, digital agencies, game development and creative studios from CIS countries and other regions. The forum demonstrated Uzbekistan's growing role as a technology hub and opened new opportunities for business localization, exports, and international cooperation.
Forum participants heard presentations from industry leaders and learned about successful cases of companies that have already localized their business in Uzbekistan. Speakers on stage represented various sectors: Dmitry Falaleev, CEO of Voice Solutions VB, discussed the potential of voice technology outsourcing; El'nara Velieva, Director of Forward Gateway, presented a case study on game development and mobile games; Hasan Salikhov, head of Artcraft studio, shared his experience exporting creative studio services to international markets.
Forum participants received detailed instructions on launching a business in the country: from registering legal entities and opening bank accounts to accessing state support through programs like Zero Risk and gaining access to local talent. These sessions were particularly valuable for international teams considering Uzbekistan as a gateway to CIS and other markets.
The forum also featured a One Stop Shop format — a single window for rapid company registration. At the forum venue, in partnership with the State Services Center, legal entities of five foreign companies were registered, which are already in the process of submitting applications for IT Park Uzbekistan residency. Another 12 companies confirmed their intention to open offices and become residents in the near future. In total, by the end of the forum, 17 foreign companies planned to open offices in Uzbekistan.
Currently, more than 2,800 companies are registered in IT Park Uzbekistan, of which 209 actively export services to CIS countries. Over 650 residents export services to international markets, including Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and North America. In 2025 alone, 18% of IT Park Uzbekistan's total exports went to the CIS. This is not just statistics, but a reflection of a sustainable trend confirmed by actions: the influx of international players means new jobs, knowledge exchange, and growth of competencies within the country.
