FinTech startup zypl.ai closed a strategic investment round and raised $2 million. As a result of the deal, the company's valuation reached $80 million.
The investor was Hofiz Shahidi, a majority shareholder of Alif Capital Holdings and director of Jefferson Capital. Earlier, international funds Prosus Ventures, Carbide Ventures, and Plug and Play Tech Center also invested in the startup.
The company plans to use the raised funds for global expansion of the platform, development of its proprietary zGAN model, integration of synthetic data technologies into the digital bank Alif ecosystem, and scaling solutions for credit scoring and fraud prevention.
Today, more than 60 financial institutions in 20 markets around the world use zypl.ai solutions. The project was launched at Stanford University and specializes in generative artificial intelligence for the financial sector.
The investment confirms the potential synergy between innovative AI technologies and rapidly growing fintech markets in Central Asia and the Middle East.
