Yandex Uzbekistan introduced a new AI-powered search: now, content from around the world is more accessible in the Uzbek language.

The service now uses neural networks trained on the Uzbek language. Thanks to this, Yandex Search now better understands queries in this language, helps find content across the internet, and translates it into Uzbek. Using neural networks, the service has also learned to provide concise answers to user questions in chat and clarify information.

Yandex Search can now translate content into Uzbek from English and Russian. The service takes into account national context, which allows for higher-quality translations. Thanks to the updated Yandex Search, 11.6 million texts are now available in Uzbek. These include Wikipedia materials and, for example, Stack Overflow — an international platform with questions and answers for IT professionals.

Additionally, users can now ask Yandex Search questions in chat and instantly receive answers. This new feature is freely available on the service's main page — yandex.uz. The answer to a question appears in the search results above the links to websites. Before showing it, the neural network analyzes the user's query and decides whether a single concise answer based on multiple sources would be useful. If so, it compiles one. Additionally, below the search bar, you can select Yandex AI, and the service will always show an answer from the neural network to the user's question.

You can ask Yandex Search in Uzbek or Russian, and the answer will be in the corresponding language. After Yandex Search shows an answer, you can ask clarifying questions in dialogue mode. Using neural networks, the service selects additional questions in the context of the discussion and offers them to the user to choose from, helping to delve deeper into the topic and understand the details.

Thanks to neural networks, Yandex Search understands natural language communication. Therefore, you can ask it questions as they come to mind. For answers, the neural networks choose the most up-to-date data, even if they appeared on the internet just a few hours ago. To verify the correctness of the answer or delve deeper into the topic, the user can always follow the link to the source of information that Yandex Search used for the answer.
