Yandex Kazakhstan has opened a new enrollment for the programming school.

The program includes training in the basics of Python programming, key concepts, constructs, and libraries. Students aged 14 to 17 can enroll in the school. Admission is based on test results.

This year, classes will be held in Almaty, Astana, Kostanay, Petropavlovsk, Taldykorgan, and Shymkent. Classes will take place in person, twice a week for one and a half hours. Participation in the project is completely free, but you need to be admitted to the school. The selection process for participants this year will end on September 30.

Admission to the programming school consists of two stages — testing and an interview. First, you need to fill out an application to participate on the project website — https://codingschool.yandex.kz/ru. You will receive an email with a link to the test. If the applicant successfully completes the test by September 18 inclusive, they will be invited for an interview.

Over the past eight years, more than 400 people have become graduates of the project, many of whom have built their careers in IT.
