Which professions represent the future, and who should start studying now to remain in demand in the labor market of a modern, technological world? Schoolchildren and their parents will be able to learn about this and more this coming Sunday at the first Festival of Digital Professions of the Future in Kazakhstan — ProfErtenFest 2024, organized in Shymkent with the general support of activ’s new IMBA tariff.
The festival will take place on June 27 at the Mega Planet shopping and entertainment center, located at 13 Tauke Khan Avenue. Speakers and delegates are ready to share their experience and knowledge with the youth, allowing young people to ask questions and receive valuable advice on choosing not only a beloved but also in-demand and profitable career path. Artificial intelligence technologies deserve special attention, as global investments in this sector are expected to exceed one trillion dollars in the coming years, and the effective use of AI can significantly increase the GDP of countries.
ProfErtenFest is the first festival in Kazakhstan for schoolchildren and their parents dedicated to new and in-demand professions in the Digital era. It was created to popularize modern professions among youth and their parents with the aim of reducing unemployment and developing the IT sector in the country. The event offers children the opportunity for early career guidance and provides parents with visible examples of successful specialists in our country.
Experts in IT, artificial intelligence, robotics, and esports, as well as popular streamers of well-known computer games, will gather at one location. Among the speakers are Sanzhar Shalkarbekov, director of the educational and sports robotics school "Robotek"; Dmitry Tarantin, senior psychologist at the largest Kazakh online therapy service Sezim; Maksat Kuzembaev, impact entrepreneur and founder of Influencers.kz, a socio-educational Edtech platform for teenagers in Kazakhstan; Aigul Ishanova, director of Edustudio and expert on foreign education; streamer and YouTuber Eraly ERALY Kaliev; and others. The modern and technological world around us is changing so rapidly that sometimes we struggle to keep up. However, for today's schoolchildren and teenagers to be ready for these challenges and remain trendy and in demand, they need to master new digital professions, promising specialties, and fields of activity starting today. I believe that ProfErtenFest is one of the few platforms that will help address these issues. As a company interested in the technological development of the country and the emergence of as many smart and creative young people as possible, we were glad to support the festival.
At the conclusion of the event, participants will look forward to a performance by the popular Kazakh singer Shiza and a draw for powerful laptops for creativity and gaming, gaming smartphones, and other cool prizes from partners.
Registration for the event begins at 17:00. Thanks to the general support of activ’s new "IMBA" tariff, entry to the festival is absolutely free. Additionally, ProfErtenFest will open its doors to residents and guests of Karaganda on June 30, Turkistan on July 7, Aktobe on July 10, and Almaty on July 14. The festival will conclude in Astana in July.
