Google's Japanese division created a hat-keyboard for typing characters anywhere
Engineers from Google's Japanese division have presented a hat-keyboard for typing characters anywhere with a single tap on the crown. The full technical description of the Gboard CAPS project and its components is available on GitHub for anyone to replicate.
Inside the convenient and soft hat with a protective visor, there is a gyroscope, a pressure sensor, and a wireless module for transmitting the user's action. Pressing the hat registers one character, while turning the hat and pressing the crown allows typing another character.
