An Uzbek-American business process outsourcing corporation will be established in Uzbekistan.

An event titled "Uzbekistan-US: Logistics Technologies and Common BPO Opportunities" took place in Irvine, California. The meeting was attended by the city's mayor, Farrar Khan, the president of the Irvine Chamber of Commerce, Brian Starr, and more than 50 entrepreneurs engaged in the BPO sector.

The goal of the event is to attract large BPO orders to Uzbekistan, foster mutual cooperation, and announce the opening of a joint corporation. The organization will create 1,100 jobs in insurance, factoring, QA, and multimedia over the next three years.

Following the meeting, entrepreneurs were informed about the procedures for obtaining IT Park resident status and the benefits provided.

BPO is a type of outsourcing in which an organization outsources non-core business processes to another company.
