In Uzbekistan, applications for the President AI Award 2026 are still being accepted.

The call for applications for the President AI Award 2026 is ongoing in Uzbekistan, aimed at supporting startups developing products based on artificial intelligence.

The total investment fund of the competition amounts to $1 million. Projects are accepted in five categories:

— public administration
— industry and entrepreneurship
— healthcare and medicine
— education
— green economy and agrotechnologies.

Three winners will be selected in each category. First-place projects can receive $100,000 in investment, second place — $60,000, and third place — $40,000. Funding will be provided by IT Park Ventures in two stages, contingent upon achieving approved performance indicators.

Who Can Participate

Teams consisting of three to eight people are eligible to participate. All participants must be over 18 years old. Citizens of Uzbekistan, as well as stateless persons permanently residing in the country, can submit applications.

A mandatory requirement is the presence of an MVP, i.e., a working version of the product. Projects that are only at the concept stage are not accepted. Along with the application, participants must submit a video presentation up to three minutes long, a project presentation in Uzbek, Russian, and English, a link to a working prototype, and information about the team.

Acceleration and Demo Day

After reviewing applications, experts will select 25 AI startups to participate in the acceleration program. Then, the best teams will present their developments at the final Demo Day. Following this, the jury will determine 15 winners who will receive investment support.

Applications are accepted free of charge until August 15 through the platform awards.gov.uz.
