Open testing for the new fantasy RPG Ardenfall, developed by Spellcast Studios, has begun on Steam.

The game is positioned as a tribute to the spirit of Skyrim and Morrowind — it promises no rigid guidance, a non-linear storyline, memorable NPC interactions, and a system where player choices truly impact the world.

Players are invited to explore the island of Ardenfall, delve into dungeons, combine weapons and magic, summon creatures, use potions, and even levitate.

The test version is based on the demo with added content and improvements. Official early access for PC via Steam is expected in early 2026.
