At Nazarbayev University, the Blockchain & Fintech Lab is opening

The opening of the Blockchain & Fintech Lab, established through the strategic partnership of Jasaim Blockchain and Astana Business Campus with the support of NU Impact Foundation, will take place at Nazarbayev University on October 1 at 16:00. A key event will be the presentation of the concept for the national blockchain platform KazSmartChain, which is designed to serve as the foundation for scalable and secure digital solutions in the country.

The development of the digital economy and the implementation of new technological solutions remain priority areas for Kazakhstan. Blockchain and Web 3.0 technologies are gradually being applied in the financial sector, logistics, public administration, and educational initiatives. The creation of the lab will bring together research teams, the business community, and government organizations to develop and test projects with practical value.
