At the KazHackStan 2022 conference in Almaty (September 14–16), a penetration test will be conducted on the CyberKümbez range—a model city with a population of approximately one million people. A secret commission from the Agency for Cybersecurity will audit the infrastructure, which includes a thermal power plant, hospitals, banks, an airport, and a water treatment plant. Registration will open soon; participation is in-person only.
One of the key events of the KazHackStan 2022 conference — TOITARYS — will be a large-scale practical penetration testing platform based on urban infrastructure models — the CyberKümbez range. You can become one of the experts of the secret commission, selected by the Agency for Cybersecurity of the Republic of KazHackStan, whose task is to audit the city's digital infrastructure and identify existing vulnerabilities.
CyberKümbez is a real model of an ordinary city with a population of about one million people. The city's life support system consists of a combined heat and power plant (CHPP) providing the city with heat and electricity for critically important social infrastructure facilities: hospitals, banks, telecommunications, monorail transport, airport, a supplementary "green" electricity station based on wind turbines and solar panels, providing street lighting, offices, and operation of advertising structures, and the latest water purification plant, which has relieved city residents of the need to install expensive filters in residential buildings.
Participation is possible only offline from September 14 to 16 in Almaty.
