In Kazakhstan, long-term support measures for IT businesses are being developed.
The Ministry of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development has initiated work on establishing long-term conditions for the development of technological entrepreneurship in the country.
As part of the implementation of the strategy for the digital transformation of the economy, the ministry is working out support parameters for Astana Hub participants for the period after 2028, with a planning horizon extending to 2045.
This initiative aims to create a predictable and competitive business environment that will allow Kazakhstan to strengthen its position as a key regional IT hub. The long-term vision for the development of the industry up to 2045 takes into account global trends in the field of AI, the scalability of export potential, and the need to attract high-tech investments.
Astana Hub has proven its effectiveness as a tool for developing the digital economy; therefore, the current task of the ministry is not just to maintain the achieved pace, but to ensure a qualitative leap by creating conditions under which every IT company operating in Kazakhstan will have a planning horizon spanning decades.
Today, the Astana Hub ecosystem demonstrates steady growth: 2,268 companies are registered in the hub, 35,000 highly qualified jobs have been created, 438 billion tenge in investments have been attracted, and the volume of exports of Kazakh IT solutions has reached $1.9 billion.
Currently, the Ministry of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, together with representatives of the expert community and interested state bodies, is conducting systematic work on analyzing and adapting existing support mechanisms. The main focus is on creating a unique environment for innovators, developing human capital, and implementing advanced solutions in the field of AI.
The formation of a long-term development strategy for Astana Hub is a priority vector of state policy aimed at transforming Kazakhstan into one of the most attractive jurisdictions for technological business in the world.
