Alatau City, the largest center for the crypto industry and AI, will be established in Kazakhstan.

In Beijing, during the session of the Kazakhstan-China Business Council, it was announced that a large-scale project — the construction of the new innovative city Alatau City — has begun. The project will be implemented with the participation of China State Construction Engineering Corporation and is intended to become one of the key centers of technological development in Kazakhstan and Central Asia.

Alatau City is conceived as a special ecosystem for the development of digital technologies, artificial intelligence, the crypto industry, and technological entrepreneurship. The city will receive the status of an independent innovation cluster and will serve as a platform for hosting startups, IT companies, research centers, and educational projects.

Special attention in the project is given to the development of the artificial intelligence industry. In Alatau City, conditions will be created for international collaborations, research initiatives, and the commercialization of technologies. This will allow Kazakhstan to strengthen its position in the rapidly growing global AI market, the volume of which may reach $5 trillion by 2033.

Furthermore, the project is oriented towards the development of the crypto industry, FinTech, and digital solutions for business and government. Alatau City will become a platform for implementing innovations in energy, logistics, and urban planning, allowing the city to serve as a model for future "smart" megacities in the region.

The initiative is considered strategic not only for Kazakhstan but also for the entire Central Asian region. The city is expected to attract international investments, create new jobs, and become a growth point for the economy by diversifying it through high-tech industries.
