Previously, Mikhail Lomtadze announced the launch on the Santufei platform.
Today, with the update of the Kaspi.kz app, the Kaspi Travel service was launched, making air travel more accessible. When searching for tickets, the app shows how long the flight will take, whether there will be layovers, and most interestingly: what the monthly payment will be, similar to Kolesa.kz.
For example, a flight from Almaty to Nur-Sultan costing 18,805 tenge can be paid off over six months at 3,500 tenge per month. This is also a great opportunity for our students who cannot afford to fly to Russia for their studies. Due to the pandemic, ticket prices have reached up to 200,000 tenge.
Previously, Mikhail Lomtadze spoke about the launch of Kaspi Travel in an interview with Forbes.kz:
“This year, we plan to launch Kaspi Travel, the online purchase of airline tickets, on the Santufei platform, which was recently acquired. A talented team has joined us, ready to build the largest online ticket sales platform and develop other services around travel.”
It seemed like nothing new could be invented in the online purchase of airline tickets, but Kaspi.kz has adapted the Santufei service to its needs, and it seems they do not plan to stop here.
