On October 14, 2025, the official opening of Tumar Innovation Hub — an international platform designed to support and scale startups from Central Asia, helping them enter global markets — took place on the main stage of Expand North Star as part of GITEX Global 2025.
The launch of the hub was made possible with the support of Astana Hub, IT Park Uzbekistan, and DIFC Innovation Hub. Thanks to their collaboration, Tumar Innovation Hub has become a venue where talent, technology, and investment converge, forming a bridge between Central Asia and the Middle Eastern markets.
The opening ceremony was part of the Unlocking Central Asia program, which brought together representatives of innovative ecosystems, investors, and technology companies from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and other countries in the region. This event highlighted the growing role of Central Asia as a dynamic center for technological solutions.
The program included a ribbon-cutting ceremony, a panel discussion titled Bridging Regions, Building Futures: Central Asia–MENA, presentations by international partners, and the signing of new memorandums and agreements.
