Astana Finance Days 2025 will take place in Astana — a platform for investors and leaders

On September 4-5, 2025, with the support of the Astana International Forum, one of the main financial events of the year — the VIII Astana Finance Days forum — will take place in the capital of Kazakhstan. The theme of the event this year is “Where Capital Shapes the Future.” It plays on the dual meaning of the word capital: on the one hand, Astana is the capital of Kazakhstan and a rapidly developing financial center connecting the East and the West; on the other hand, capital is the driving force of sustainable growth.

In an era of global competition for capital, the effective use of these resources becomes key to overcoming the challenges of our time — from climate change to stimulating economic development and technological progress.

This year, Astana Finance Days is expected to bring together more than 5,000 participants from over 70 countries — representatives of the financial and technology sectors, including brokers, bankers, investors, and innovators, as well as representatives of the state and quasi-state sectors.

The 2025 forum has three thematic areas: financial capital, infrastructure capital, and institutional capital. This allows for a broad coverage of topics: speakers will discuss current trends in finance, FinTech, and sustainable development, regulatory changes, and new financial products — from traditional portfolio investments to cryptocurrencies.

One of the headline speakers at the forum will be Brett King — a renowned futurist, entrepreneur, and author of such global bestsellers as “Bank 4.0: The New Financial Reality,” “Technosocialism: How Inequality, Artificial Intelligence, and Climate Change Are Creating a New World Order,” “The Augmented Age,” and others.

A distinctive feature of this year’s forum will be the AFD Exhibition Hub — a unified exhibition platform for Astana Finance Days.
