A summer school on artificial intelligence has opened in Astana.

The international AI Summer School 2025 program has launched at Astana IT University, with the support of the Halyk Charitable Foundation and the NNEF Educational Foundation.

Over five days, participants — students and faculty — will attend more than 30 lectures and workshops led by experts from Kazakhstan, Europe, the United States, and Southeast Asia. Speakers will discuss the practical applications of AI in science, education, and everyday life.

This is the second edition of the summer school, aimed at developing a new generation of specialists and strengthening ties between academia, business, and government. The training is divided into two tracks: a basic track for all participants and an advanced track for technical specialists.

Organizers include: AITU, IITU, UIB, KBTU, and IPMA Kazakhstan.
