The first robotic coffee shop has opened at Tashkent Airport.
The first robotic coffee shop in the country, named Robo Coffee, has begun operations at Tashkent International Airport. This new technological format is not only the first of its kind in the airport but also throughout Uzbekistan.
A robotic barista prepares the beverages. Depending on the selected drink, the process takes between 1.5 and 3 minutes. The menu features around 20 items, ranging from classic coffee drinks to signature recipes. Visitors can also order coffee with a print—an image on the milk foam.
Orders can be paid for in cash, by bank card, or through payment systems. The equipment for the robotic coffee shop was manufactured in China.
The project is aimed at airport passengers and focuses on improving service speed, implementing innovative technologies, and enhancing the user experience. The opening of Robo Coffee is part of the modernization of the air terminal's commercial infrastructure and demonstrates growing interest in automation and robotics in the food service industry.
