TSARKA showcased innovations in cybersecurity at Demo Day
Author - Mansur Ismagulov
A Demo Day dedicated to cyber threats and cybersecurity took place at the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovations, and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan. As part of the event, the team of the Cyber Attack Analysis and Investigation Center presented its own solutions in the field of information security, including a secure smartphone, WebTotem, Tumar. One projects, and its own OCB.
Igor Senyushin, Head of R&D at TSARKA, presented domestic developments—a secure smartphone and a USB key for protection against fraudsters. He explained what the devices are intended for and how they will work in real-world operations.
Systemic industry issues were also addressed. For example, current customs laws effectively support only serial production, leaving design and innovation businesses without support.
One of the projects presented at Demo Day was Tumar.One. This is the largest crowdsourced cybersecurity platform in Central Asia, with a pool of about 3000 researchers, over 4500 accepted reports, and dozens of confirmed vulnerabilities annually. The platform has become de facto national and is included in the Trusted Software Registry. Its practical effectiveness has been confirmed by cases in the banking sector, telecommunications, education, and government services.
Ruslan Turguldinov, head of the WebTotem project, spoke about a system for monitoring and protecting digital assets that is already working with tens of thousands of resources worldwide.
Currently, the project has a corporate version that allows integrating the service into the processes of large organizations, helping to control domains and eliminate vulnerabilities in a timely manner.
The final part of Demo Day was the presentation of the Operational Center for Information Security.
The Operational Center for Information Security provides clients with: round-the-clock infrastructure monitoring, early detection and blocking of threats, rapid response and incident investigation, compliance with legislative requirements and international standards, and audit and risk assessment.
TSARKA continues to develop technologies that make the digital environment safer and plans to expand cooperation with business, government, and international partners.
