This year, the following skills are particularly important:
— AI literacy, specifically prompt engineering, big data analytics, and the ability to work with LLM models
— product mindset: thinking in terms of hypotheses and metrics, and the ability to analyze
— process automation for tasks performed more than once, i.e., creating simple no-code digital processes and transitioning to end-to-end document management models
— working with cloud technologies
— in cybersecurity, I would highlight anti-fraud technologies, such as implemented anti-spoofing, detection of data breach threats, and digital hygiene for all users.

This year, the IT and related job markets have clearly divided into those who use AI and those who create it.
1. Skills for effective use of AI
Today, this is no longer just an advantage but a basic necessity for specialists in a wide range of professions. This does not refer to programming models, but rather to the ability to interact effectively with AI tools, such as: prompt engineering, working with AI assistants, critical thinking and validation, as well as integrating AI into workflows.
These skills have become mandatory for marketers, copywriters, designers, project managers, and many others.
2. AI/ML Engineer Roles
Since DataArt always works with the latest technologies, the need for AI/ML engineers has been acute for us for several years, and we have been successfully hiring such specialists in Kazakhstan and beyond.
Today, we can confidently say that there is a hiring trend for:
machine learning engineers, data analysts, and specialists in related fields working on the creation and scaling of new AI model architectures.
Thus, the hype that "AI will replace all of us" is being replaced by a clear understanding that "people who use and create new AI solutions may replace us."
