Apple CEO Tim Cook received a total compensation package for the 2025 fiscal year of approximately $74.3 million. This amount is slightly lower than the 2024 figure, when his compensation was around $74.6 million.
According to the company's annual report and proxy statement, the key components of the payout were bonuses and stock awards, which depend on Apple's financial performance and shareholder actions.
In the 2025 compensation structure:
— base salary — $3 million, unchanged since 2016
— restricted stock awards — approximately $57.5 million
— performance-based bonuses — $12 million
— other payments — approximately $1.76 million, including security expenses, pension plan contributions, and payment for private flights.
The majority of the income is tied to Apple's stock and performance metrics, reflecting the company's approach to incentivizing leadership through long-term results.
Despite the slight decrease in the total amount, Cook's compensation package remains among the highest in the S&P 500 and is linked to Apple's strong financial dynamics, including significant iPhone sales and revenue growth.
The report also shows that Cook's base salary has not changed for a long time, while the rest of the compensation is primarily formed through stock and performance-dependent bonuses.
