The Tech exclusively broadcasts the qualifying rounds and the final of TechCrunch Road 2 Battlefield

Silkroad Innovation Hub has completed the first regional selection in the region's history, opening a direct path to the finals of the prestigious TechCrunch Startup Battlefield competition, which will take place in San Francisco from October 27 to 29, 2025, as part of the largest technology conference, TechCrunch Disrupt.

A total of 485 applications were received for participation in the selection from 27 countries, including Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Georgia, Tajikistan, Turkey, Singapore, UAE, Qatar, and others. Only three teams will have the opportunity to represent the region on the largest startup stage in Silicon Valley.

Startups from Uzbekistan successfully presented their projects from July 21 to 24 during the preliminary round of the Road 2 Battlefield Regional Competitions. Over four days, they defended their ideas before a strong jury composed of international funds and corporations, including Astana Hub Ventures, Silkroad Angels Club, Stanford HAI Affinity Group, Activat VC, NetApp, and Sabah Angels.

Road 2 Battlefield covers areas such as FinTech, EdTech, MedTech, artificial intelligence, and other rapidly growing sectors. Projects are evaluated based on innovation, scalability, team strength, and market potential.

Finalists will take the stage at TechCrunch Startup Battlefield in front of leading investors, media, and industry leaders, competing for a $100,000 prize and extensive media coverage.
