"Terrycon Valley" announced cooperation with Freedom Holding Corp.

Joint events in the IT & Digital sector are planned for the near future.

Freedom Holding Corp. is a diversified company providing financial services, engaged in brokerage activities, securities trading, investment research and consulting, investment banking and underwriting services, mortgages, insurance, telecommunications, online sale of airline tickets and tickets for cultural and sporting events, offers online supermarket services and many others. The holding is present in 20 countries around the world, and its shares are traded on the same exchange as Apple, Microsoft, and Facebook — Nasdaq.

“Terricov Valley” is a Karaganda project created to support and develop the region in the fields of IT and Digital. The organizers are focused on developing the local startup ecosystem.

As part of the collaboration, “Terricov Valley” and Freedom Holding Corp. will host meetups and workshops with speakers and experts from the holding, and build a community, while the audience of “Terricov Valley” will receive more information about Freedom’s activities.

Additionally, a joint hackathon is being prepared with a prize fund of 1 million tenge and cases from Freedom Holding Corp. Teams that present the best solutions to the cases will be able to contribute to the further development of the holding.
