Tencent is China’s largest technology company, a pioneer of the super-app business model, and the creator of WeChat, one of the world’s most popular mobile applications, used by over 1.3 billion people. We are delighted to welcome Tencent among Kaspi.kz’s largest shareholders! My investment, along with those of key members of our leadership team, reflects our strong confidence in our company’s business model and long-term strategy. We are also pleased to welcome Spice Expeditions, an international fintech investment company, and university investment funds from the United States—Washington University and the University of Wisconsin Foundation—among our long-term shareholders.
Kaspi.kz emphasized that the participation of Tencent and other international investors strengthens the company’s global investor base and confirms interest in its ecosystem model, which integrates financial services, payment solutions, and digital products for users and businesses.
