TechCrunch has opened applications for Startup Battlefield 200 with a $100,000 prize
TechCrunch has announced the start of applications for Startup Battlefield 200 — one of the most well-known competitions for early-stage startups. Participants will have the opportunity to present on the main stage of TechCrunch Disrupt 2026 before an audience of over 10,000 people, including leading venture capitalists, founders, and representatives of the global tech industry.
The competition is open to startups from around the world at the pre-Series A stage; in some cases, projects at the Series A stage are also considered, provided they already have a working MVP and a clear product vision. Organizers are looking for teams creating innovative and potentially category-defining products.
From thousands of applications, 200 startups will be selected to participate in the program. Of these, the top 20 will advance to the final and present their projects on the Disrupt stage, with the winner receiving $100,000 in investment without giving up equity.
Beyond the chance to win, participants will receive a wide range of opportunities: international media coverage through the TechCrunch platform, free exhibition booths for three days of the event, access to a press and investor database, participation in closed masterclasses for founders, and direct feedback from leading venture capital firms.
Applications are accepted until May 27, 2026; however, organizers emphasize that early submission increases the chances of selection and attention from the editorial team and investors.
