TechCrunch has opened applications for Startup Battlefield 200 to participate in Disrupt 2026
TechCrunch announced the continuation of applications for the Startup Battlefield 200 competition, which will take place as part of the TechCrunch Disrupt 2026 conference in San Francisco.
Early-stage startup founders with a ready MVP and an ambitious technological concept are invited to participate. Teams at the bootstrap, pre-seed, or seed stages, as well as individual companies at the Series A stage in capital-intensive industries, can apply.
Startup Battlefield 200 participants will have the opportunity to present on the main Disrupt stage in front of leading venture capitalists, showcase their products to TechCrunch's global audience, and compete for $100,000 without giving up equity in their company. Additionally, startups will receive a free exhibition booth for all three days of the event, four conference passes, access to press lists, workshops for founders, and feedback from world-class investors.
Organizers note that competition this year will be particularly high: thousands of startups applied in the previous season. However, early application increases the chances of selection.
Over the years, notable companies such as Dropbox, Discord, Fitbit, Mint, and Trello have graduated from the competition. In total, more than 1,500 startups from around the world have participated in Startup Battlefield.
Applications for Startup Battlefield 200 are open until June 8, 2026. The TechCrunch Disrupt 2026 conference will take place from October 13-15 in San Francisco.
