The second stream of the AI’preneurs 2025 program has started.

The second cohort of AI’preneurs has begun at Astana Hub, one of the first accelerators in Kazakhstan focused on developing AI startups. The program has attracted significant interest among IT entrepreneurs, innovators, and specialists: in 2025, 360 applications were submitted from Kazakhstan, Russia, and Kyrgyzstan.

As a result of the competitive selection process, 58 participants were accepted into the program. The average age of the finalists is 33 years. Among them are professionals with experience in technology and business. The majority have practical training: active entrepreneurs, corporate sector employees, and freelancers. Many have experience working in international companies and technology projects.

AI’preneurs takes place in an offline format in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan. All participants from other cities and countries are provided with accommodation for the entire duration of the program. The acceleration period lasts three months and includes educational events, individual consultations with industry experts, and active practical work on projects.

The program is implemented as part of a national initiative to develop artificial intelligence and aims to build a robust ecosystem of entrepreneurs creating AI-based solutions.

The first cohort of AI’preneurs confirmed high interest in the program and significant participant potential. In 2024, out of 250 applications, 50 specialists were selected, forming 21 teams, nine of which successfully completed the acceleration and received funding under the Seed Money program.
