Uzbekistan's Sanjar Atamuradov has attracted $2.5 million in investments to develop his startup Humanola in Silicon Valley. The round was led by venture funds Link Ventures, Bad Ideas Fund, Georgia Tech Fund, as well as Akmal Pazyev as a business angel.
Humanola is developing technology that allows a person to control a humanoid robot from anywhere in the world with minimal latency. At the same time, every action of the operator is translated into training data, forming the foundation for future autonomous physical agents. According to the company's estimates, such solutions can change the labor market, industrial automation, medicine, logistics, and task execution in complex or hazardous conditions.
The company plans to expand its team, accelerate platform development, and scale the remote robot control system to new industries and use cases.
