Polygraf AI announced the completion of a $9.5 million Seed funding round, led by Allegis Capital with participation from Alumni Ventures, DataPower VC, DOMiNO Ventures, and previous investors. The funds will be directed toward product expansion, research and development, and global promotion of solutions for the corporate, defense, and intelligence sectors.
Polygraf AI develops Small Language Model (SLM) technology that enables locally deployable, explainable, and verifiable AI systems. These solutions help organizations identify risks, prevent fraud, and protect the integrity of corporate information. Unlike large cloud-based models, SLMs operate locally, ensuring control, transparency, and data security while maintaining high performance.
The company is actively expanding in the defense, financial services, insurance, and healthcare segments, where data protection and regulatory compliance are critical. Polygraf’s locally deployed AI modules help reduce deepfake risks, detect internal threats, and provide up-to-date information for decision-making in critical situations.
Previously, Polygraf AI’s solutions received recognition at international technology events: the startup won Best in Show at SXSW, received Best Insurtech/Fintech awards at Summerfest Tech, and was recognized as a Top AI & Data Product by Products That Count.
Yagub Rahimov, Co-founder and CEO of Polygraf AI
The world is realizing that large cloud-based models carry unpredictable risks. Our mission is to eliminate these risks. We demonstrate that AI can be both smart and reliable: small, local, explainable, and trustworthy. This investment allows us to strengthen the protection of critical operations where errors are unacceptable.
The company plans to expand its partner base—MSPs and SIs—and promote its SLM solutions to more corporate clients in the US, Europe, and Asia.
