Sports Interactive is preparing a major update to the Football Manager series

Sports Interactive has officially announced Football Manager 26 — the next installment in its iconic series of football management simulation games. The developers promise the most extensive and visually impressive experience in the franchise's history, featuring an updated narrative system that will allow players to immerse themselves even deeper into the world of top-level football.

FM26 will be the first project in the series built on the Unity game engine, opening up new possibilities for graphics and animation. The studio has already showcased a segment of the revamped Match Day mode, developed with the official Premier League license.

The game's release date has not yet been revealed, but SEGA hinted that this is just the beginning of a series of announcements — more details are expected in the near future.
