Solana Day from Decentrathon: the largest blockchain hackathon will take place in Kazakhstan

Astana Hub, together with the Blockchain & AI Technology Center, under the support of the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovations, and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan, announces the Solana Day powered by Decentrathon — the largest blockchain hackathon in Kazakhstan. The event will take place on September 12, 2025, and will simultaneously cover 20 cities across the country.

Registration is free and open on the Astana Hub platform until September 11 via this link.

For the first time, the event is held with the support of the global Solana Superteam community, marking a key milestone in the development of the country's blockchain ecosystem. Solana Superteam KZ is a Kazakhstani community within the Solana ecosystem, a global network of developers, founders, and creators building products and solutions on the Solana blockchain.

The total prize pool for the hackathon is $20,000. The central track of the hackathon is blockchain, where teams will create projects on the Solana ecosystem. Participants will be able to develop solutions in blockchain technology and other innovative products on one of the fastest blockchain platforms in the world. Anyone aged 18 and above can participate: from students to professional developers.

The partnership with BAITC underscores the importance of developing the blockchain sector as a strategically significant part of Kazakhstan's digital economy. Meanwhile, Astana Hub's participation provides attendees with access to modern technological infrastructure and expertise from a leading IT hub.

Winners of Solana Day will be awarded on the country's main technology stage — as part of the Digital Bridge 2025 forum. The best teams will not only gain recognition in Kazakhstan but also a unique opportunity to present their projects at the global Solana hackathon. This will allow them to showcase their projects to a wide audience and attract the attention of potential investors, partners, and employers.

When: September 12
