Silkway Accelerator and President Tech Award 2023: Competitions and Accelerators for IT Specialists from Central Asia

We have compiled a selection of IT competitions for you, where you can win cash prizes and receive support for your project.

mGovAward

Students of universities and students of general education and secondary vocational schools in Uzbekistan can participate.

To participate, you need to provide a three-minute video and a working MVP of a mobile application.

The total prize pool is $100,000:

— 1st place — $50,000

— 2nd place — $30,000

— 3rd place — $20,000.

President Tech Award 2023

The competition includes five categories in the main direction, as well as a grand prize — a hackathon for developing a digital solution, which will last 72 hours.

Participation criteria:

 — Only citizens of Uzbekistan can participate in the main categories

 — All IT Park residents can participate in the hackathon, regardless of citizenship.

Prize fund:

 — The hackathon winner will receive $100,000

 — In the main categories: first place will receive $100,000, second place $50,000, third place — $30,000.

Startup Competition from the Agency for Innovative Development of Uzbekistan

To participate in the competition, the project readiness period should not exceed one year, and the field should be innovations and HighTech.

To participate in the project, you need to provide the following documents:

— Application from the startup creator

— Startup passport

— Expense estimate

 — Startup business plan, signed and stamped.

Silkway Accelerator

The program is designed for startups at the PMF and Scale stages, during which participants will receive assistance in creating effective business processes, scaling, networking with like-minded individuals, and preparing for investments in partnership with Google for Startups.

Silkway Accelerator will take place in an offline format in Astana and is intended for startups from Central Asian countries, Mongolia, Azerbaijan, and Georgia.
