SABAH.HUB and Al-Farabi Innovation Hub signed a memorandum of cooperation

On June 17, Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan held the inaugural INMerge Almaty forum, laying the foundation for a new strategy of cooperation between the two countries. The central event was the signing of a memorandum of understanding between Al-Farabi Innovation Hub (Kazakhstan) and SABAH.HUB (Azerbaijan).

The document aims to develop partnerships and support startups in entering international markets — primarily in the Middle East and North Africa regions. The parties agreed to support startups in the MENA region, develop joint acceleration and training programs, and facilitate the exchange of knowledge and expertise between the ecosystems of the two countries.

The forum served as a powerful platform for strengthening ties between the countries in priority areas such as innovation, technology entrepreneurship, and venture capital investment. The signing of the memorandum between SABAH.HUB and Al-Farabi Innovation Hub is another important step in this direction.

The event marked a significant step toward bringing closer the innovation ecosystems of Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan. It also served as preparation for the major INMerge Baku forum, which will take place in September and bring together startup founders, investors, and technology leaders from the region.

From initial agreements to launching new projects, Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan are building a shared innovation space with ambitions to reach a global level.
