The payment system HUMO has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Turkish payment system BKM TROY.
One of the key areas of cooperation will be the integration of the infrastructure of the two systems. The technical launch of the integration is scheduled for this year after all necessary procedures are completed.
After the integration is launched, HUMO cardholders will be able to pay for goods and services in Turkey through the TROY terminal network.
In June 2024, the then-head of HUMO, Shukhratbek Kurbanov, spoke about the payment system's medium-term plans to enter the markets of Azerbaijan and Turkey. According to him, at that time the company had already begun preliminary negotiations with partners.
