Applications are now open for the 6th cohort of Silkway Accelerator

Astana Hub, together with Google for Startups, has opened applications for the sixth cohort of the Silkway Accelerator program — a recognized leader among Central Asian accelerators for growth-stage tech startups. Teams from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Mongolia are eligible to participate.

Over the three years of Silkway Accelerator's operation, approximately 1,300 applications were received, and only 62 startups from Central Eurasian countries successfully passed the selection process and completed the acceleration program. In total, they attracted more than $28 million in investments. The combined valuation of graduates exceeded $500 million, and their scaling geography covered markets in the UAE, Turkey, the US, and other countries. Notable examples include Citix, zypl.ai, Arlan Biotech, NB Fit, UvU, ApartX, Biometric, ZebraEye, Alaqan, and others.

Tech startups with a working product at the PMF (Product-Market Fit) or Scale stage, ready to work intensively for 12 weeks in Astana, can apply to participate in Silkway Accelerator. The program includes intensive tracking, a free office and co-living accommodation, mentorship support, assistance with international networking, PR support, and investment opportunities.

Kazakhstan is considered the first and only country in Central Asia where an accelerator has been launched in partnership with the global company Google for Startups.
