OpenAI announced a new feature — the ability to run built-in apps directly within ChatGPT.
Users will be able to access apps such as Booking.com, Spotify, Canva, Coursera, Zillow, and others, all of which will operate directly within the chat window.
An SDK for developers was also introduced, enabling the creation of custom interactive applications that adapt to user queries.
The system utilizes the Model Context Protocol, allowing developers to connect their data sources and execute actions with a visual interface directly within ChatGPT.
If a user already has a subscription to an external app, they can log in to their account and interact with it without leaving the chat.
