Nvidia announced an AI ecosystem for robotics at CES 2026
Nvidia unveiled a suite of software and hardware solutions for developing general-purpose robots at CES 2026.
The initiative includes AI models, simulation tools, training infrastructure, and specialized chips. The platform is designed to create robots capable of performing a wide range of tasks in various environments.
Among the announced developments is an updated version of the Isaac GR00T model, aimed at humanoid robots. It supports visual-language perception and whole-body motion control. Also presented are new models from the Cosmos family, used for generating synthetic data, predicting behavior, and visually analyzing the environment.
For training and testing, the company showcased the Isaac Lab-Arena simulation environment, which allows tasks to be practiced in virtual conditions. Additionally, Nvidia introduced the open OSMO infrastructure, which integrates data generation, model training, and deployment processes.
In the hardware segment, the company announced new Jetson platforms based on the Blackwell architecture, designed to run AI models directly on robots.
Nvidia is also expanding its collaboration with Hugging Face, providing developers with access to its models and tools. The company expects its solutions to serve as a foundational platform for robotic systems in industry, logistics, and service robots.
