The Ministry of Digital Development, Innovations and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan, together with the Academy of Public Administration, is launching AI skills training for civil servants — AI Qyzmet.
AI Qyzmet is the first program in Central Eurasia for training civil servants in the field of artificial intelligence, aimed at improving the efficiency of public service by integrating AI tools into work processes.
As part of the training, it is planned to form a conscious habit of using AI in the work of civil servants, optimize administrative processes through automation and data analytics, and implement local AI solutions of Kazakhstan.
The course covers key scenarios for using AI in the daily activities of a civil servant: planning, information processing, creating presentations, decision-making, task automation, and public speaking. This course provides universal principles for working with modern language models, which will help easily adapt to various artificial intelligence systems. Mastering interaction with ChatGPT opens up opportunities for confident use of such platforms as Claude from Anthropic, Gemini from Google, Perplexity, Mistral, Cohere, and others.
The training will take place in an offline format with the support of Mastercard and KPMG Caucasus and Central Asia at the Academy of Public Administration and its branches. Upon completion of the course, civil servants will be issued certificates with a unique number.
The training is conducted in the format of Snack Learning — short video lectures of five minutes each, making the learning process flexible and easily integrated into the work schedule. Among the lecturers are leading experts and practitioners, including the Minister of Digital Development Zhaslan Madiev, who shares his experience in implementing AI at the strategic management level.
As part of the program, it is planned to cover approximately 30,000 civil servants annually. Course registration will be available to all civil servants in the country at any time on the Astana Hub platform.
