MFCA will become part of the Global Green Finance Index

Green finance is no longer considered a secondary activity but has become a profitable and desirable sector that stimulates financial markets.At the Boao Forum for Asia (BFA), Kairat Kelimbetov, Head of ASPiR, stated that the International Financial Center Astana (IFCA) will become part of the "global network" - the Global Green Finance Index."Kazakhstan has announced an ambitious yet important goal – to achieve carbon neutrality by 2060. The IFCA Green Finance Center supported the first issuance of green bonds in the region," Kairat Kelimbetov said.Established in 2018, the IFCA Green Finance Center assists potential issuers, investors, and market participants in preparing for the issuance of green bonds on the IFCA Exchange. Additionally, IFCA participated in the development of the "green" taxonomy mechanism in Kazakhstan.Source
