Abbosxon Hasanov, manager of the Medevery startup and the "Hasanov Abdurakhmon" clinic, launched a B2B marketplace for medical equipment in June this year. The platform has registered more than 30 vendors with nearly 2000 products; over 250 purchase requests for 650 units of equipment have been received, and traffic has exceeded 40,000 visits. The project is funded from the founder's own resources, has gone through the Startup Garage incubation, and by the end of the year, investment attraction and the launch of a mobile application are planned.

How it all began
I am the founder and head of the Medevery startup. Medevery is a marketplace specializing in the sale of medical equipment.
Additionally, I manage a family business — a private clinic for the diagnosis and treatment of ENT diseases called "Hasanov Abdurakhmon." I have been in this field for a long time, so to speak, since the early 2000s. Even during my student years, I helped my father with documentation. Despite my main job, I have always remained involved in the family business.
Private clinics regularly update and purchase medical equipment to expand the range of services provided, and our clinic is no exception. We update our equipment every three to four years. During one of such purchases, we encountered difficulties in finding a reliable supplier and the necessary equipment. At that time, there were no specialized platforms or services in the country that would simplify this process. We had to rely either on recommendations from acquaintances or on chaotic information from Telegram chats.
After analyzing this situation, I concluded that the market needed a platform uniting all participants. Thus began my journey to create the first B2B marketplace for medical equipment in Uzbekistan.
Like many startups, we started by studying the market, asking ourselves: how relevant is the idea of a medical marketplace? After conducting a survey among private clinics and medical equipment suppliers, we concluded that this idea has prospects. After that, together with a specialist, we began developing a prototype of the platform for an early launch, using existing ready-made solutions.
The project launch took place in June this year and went quite smoothly — the market accepted us positively.

Team
Our team formed surprisingly quickly and successfully. The first thing we looked for in candidates was faith. Faith in our project and its success. We were truly lucky: we quickly assembled a team of like-minded people. Everyone on our team is communicative and friendly, which not only contributes to a good atmosphere but also attracts new clients. Many want to become part of such a positive and cohesive team.
Target Audience
As a result of market analysis, we understood that our platform is aimed at a wide audience: medical institutions, manufacturers and suppliers of medical equipment, specialists, as well as patients who are looking for quality and affordable medical devices.
The medical equipment market faces many challenges: lack of information, unavailability of suppliers in remote regions, prolonged search for suitable equipment, lack of convenient platforms for buying and selling medical equipment, and other problems.
Our startup Medevery offers a solution in the form of a single platform where all suppliers and a wide selection of medical equipment are gathered in one place. This makes it easy to find and purchase the necessary goods.
Today, more than 30 vendors are registered on our platform, offering almost 2,000 types of medical products. Since the launch, we have received more than 250 applications from medical institutions and specialists for the purchase of more than 650 units of medical equipment. Website traffic has already exceeded 40,000 visits.
Incubation Programs
In March 2024, we applied to participate in the Startup Garage incubation program from Astana Hub and successfully passed it. The program lasted more than three months in an online format. Within the framework of the program, we gained knowledge and skills in creating and developing startups from practicing mentors and industry experts. In addition, experienced specialists were invited as lecturers who shared their insights and advice. Overall, the program significantly helped us in packaging and launching our startup.
Our startup is funded from the founder's own resources. We actively participate in various events to attract the attention of angel and venture investors to our project.
Difficulties
Overall, the market accepted us well — people like our idea. The only difficulty arose with representatives of the old school, who were somewhat unclear to us. However, judging by our recent surveys, even they are trying to keep up with the times, and our team helps them with this.

My advice to startuppers: listen to all advice, but do not follow every one of them. Advice can be different, and it is important to know how to distinguish useful recommendations from those that may turn out to be useless.
Achievements
I can confidently say that our main achievement is our very existence. Sometimes people approach us, exhausted from searching, having lost hope of finding the necessary medical equipment for their seriously ill relatives. Our team prioritizes helping them find the required equipment. And as long as we manage to do this, we are proud of what we are doing. We see this as our success — helping people in their difficult moments of life. This is our goal.
If people manage to find what they need with the help of our platform — and since our platform is focused on medical equipment, this means helping the sick — I consider this to be a real achievement. Our reward is healthy people, their smiles, and the joy of their loved ones.
Plans
By the end of the year, we plan to attract investments to our project, which will allow us to accelerate development and enter external markets. In addition, in the near future, we will launch a mobile application and introduce new features for users.
