The leak includes phone numbers, email addresses, dates of birth, gender, location, and relationship statuses. Regarding user accounts from Kazakhstan, 3.2 million records pertain to Kazakhstani citizens. A Facebook representative stated that the data is old and was extracted from a vulnerability that the company fixed in 2019.
Batyrzhan Tyuteev, CTO of NitroTeam, created a bot where you can check if your phone number is in the leaked database:
If the bot @heycheckme_bot shows "Not Found," then the contact is not in the database;
If information is returned, then your number is in the database.
The server hosting the bot will operate for the next month. Data is not transmitted and will be deleted along with the bot after a month.
Incidentally, Mark Zuckerberg's number is also in the leaked database, so there is a unique opportunity to call him personally.
