Kyrgyzstan and Meta will create a working group on digital security and digital projects

Adylbek Kasymaliev, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic and Head of the Presidential Administration, held a meeting with Molly Montgomery, Director of Government Policy at Meta Platforms, during a working visit to Washington.

During the meeting, the parties discussed cooperation in the field of digital security, as well as the prospects for developing long-term partnership between Kyrgyzstan and Meta in the areas of digital transformation and implementation of modern technological solutions.

Special attention was given to opportunities for interaction in the field of information technology, including issues of cybersecurity and digital development of public and civic services.

As a result of the negotiations, the parties agreed to establish a joint working group on digital security and digital projects. This working group will serve as a mechanism for systematic interaction and coordination of joint initiatives between Kyrgyzstan and Meta.

The Cabinet of Ministers noted that developing cooperation with leading international technology companies is an important area of state policy in the field of digital transformation, aimed at implementing modern digital solutions and improving the efficiency of government processes.

The meeting took place within the framework of an official working visit of the Head of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan to the United States.
