We conducted a survey among The Tech readers—and are now ready to share who reads us, what they’re interested in, and how often they return for content. Below is a brief breakdown of the key data.

63% of our readers are under 34 years old. By gender composition: 55% are women, 45% are men.

Top cities: Almaty, Astana, Tashkent, Dushanbe, and Bishkek.

Readers actively follow what is happening in the world of technology. The greatest interest is in IT news, startups, artificial intelligence, FinTech, as well as personal stories and experiences of those who are building careers in the technology sector. Practical formats such as reviews, podcasts, and videos also find their audience.

Among our readers are both beginners and experienced professionals with above-average income. The largest group has a monthly income from $700 to $3000. There are those who are just starting their careers (up to $300) and those who have exceeded $3000.

How often we are read

Most of our readers visit us several times a week or even daily — and this is, perhaps, the best indicator of trust and interest in our content. Only a few read us only through newsletters or by chance.
