KhanTengri Innovation Hub has been recognized as one of the active international technology hubs in Shanghai.
KhanTengri Innovation Hub has been included in the list of active international technology communities in Shanghai. This selection focuses on the city's startup community, which helps international entrepreneurs and technology teams establish connections, share experiences, and develop collaborations.
Shanghai is considered one of China's most global cities. However, foreign startup founders often face barriers when seeking a professional community—ranging from fragmented platforms and language differences to disjointed contact networks. Therefore, technology communities play a crucial role in uniting the international startup ecosystem.
KhanTengri Innovation Hub is the first innovation hub in China created to support startups and technology companies from Central Eurasia. The hub is officially supported by the Ministry of Artificial Intelligence and Digitalization of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Digital Technologies of Uzbekistan.
The hub also serves as the official representative office in China for the region's largest technology parks—Astana Hub and IT Park Uzbekistan.
The hub's mission is to become a leading cross-border innovation bridge connecting Central Eurasia, China, and global markets. It operates as a "two-way highway": helping entrepreneurs from Central Eurasia scale up in China through scale-up programs, and assisting Chinese technology companies in entering the Central Asian market through residency and soft-landing programs.
