The successful performance of our students at EUROAI 2026 confirms the high level of training of Kazakhstani schoolchildren in the field of artificial intelligence and competitive programming. This is the result of systematic work
The Kazakhstan national team performed successfully at the first Central European Artificial Intelligence Olympiad, EUROAI 2026, winning four medals: one gold, two silver, and one bronze.
The Olympiad took place from July 14 to 19, 2026, in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, at Babeș-Bolyai University. The Kazakh team participated in the competition in an online format alongside top European national teams.
As a result of the Olympiad, Abu Kanabek won the gold medal. Islamnur Husainov and Dauzhan Beketov became silver medalists. Sultanbi Isatai received the bronze medal.
Over two competitive days, participants developed artificial intelligence models from scratch and solved practical tasks requiring knowledge in programming, data analysis, and machine learning. The Olympiad format allowed school students to demonstrate not only their technical skills but also their ability to find effective solutions under time constraints.
