Kazakh IT company wins gold in international competition

Sergek Group has won the gold award in the "Best Solution for Intelligent Traffic Management" category of the international Future Digital Awards for Smart Cities & IoT Innovation 2024. The company nominated its solutions in the "Sustainability and Innovation in Smart Cities" category.

The contest is organized by Juniper Research, a leading analytics company in the mobile and digital technology sector. The annual award attracts attention from suppliers worldwide across three categories: Internet of Things, Smart Cities, and Judges' Choice. When selecting nominees, criteria such as product innovation, features and benefits, partnerships, certification, compliance with international standards, and business development prospects are taken into account.

Winners of the contest in previous years have included globally renowned companies such as Amazon, Siemens, IBM, and others.

Sergek Group's victory in this competition demonstrates the viability of Kazakhstani solutions in the field of smart cities. Until now, only well-known global multinational companies had been nominated in this category. Sergek Group's solutions earned a "Gold" award in their category, losing only to the American urban mobility platform, which received the Platinum award.
